Is Epoxy Better Than Wood Glue. I am prepared to eventually use epoxy to glas a wing etc, but it looks messy and I don't have any right now anyway. The Ultimate Epoxy Competition–Which Epoxy is the Best?
BEST FOR ABS PLASTIC: Plastruct Plastic Weld. Gorilla Glue is a polyurethane glue and Titebond III is an aliphatic resin glue. It really depends on who you ask. Wood glue would be nearly worthless in such a case. Gorilla glue will adhere to more substances but Titebond III gives a better wood to wood bond. So like I already mentioned, this is a standard wood glue. And while setting, it doesn't shrink, so it So, where would I use each?
As for gluing wood with stuff not specifially sold as wood glue, there is epoxy and polyurethane glue and cyanoacrolate glues good for mixed material joints but useful for just wood sometimes: instant bond, no clamping pressure, void filling, etc.
In other words, if you forcibly try to break a glued joint, the wood will fail before the glue will in either case.
Wood glue is an adhesive used to tightly bond pieces of wood together. For wood to wood joints I use regular wood glue. Epoxy resins work better on larger platforms rather than smaller ones.
